Mrs. Amiee Daugherty
Mrs. Amiee Daugherty teaches our Time for Two class. Mrs. Daugherty holds a degree in Secondary English Education and has taught at the high school and elementary levels. She enjoys reading and baking with her sons and husband!
Her favorite verse is 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your fears and anxieties on Jesus because He cares for you. This verse is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and strength through all of our daily worries - both big and small!”

Mrs. Barb Leffler
Mrs. Barb Leffler graduated from Edinboro University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education – Mathematics. She is married with 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
I love to spend time with my family and friends and if we happen to be doing arts and crafts, playing cards, board games or yard games, that is all the better!
Favorite Bible verse: Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Mrs. Hollie Relihan
Mrs. Hollie Relihan in a teacher in our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten program. She lives in Butler with her husband Justin and their 4 children. Mrs. Relihan is from upstate New York; however, she went to Clarion University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. In her free time, she loves to read, volunteer for children's ministry, and enjoys being outdoors with her family.
Mrs. Relihan's favorite Bible verse is: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

Mrs. Julie Winters
Mrs. Julie Winters is one of our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten teachers. She has been married to her husband, Paul, for 24 years and has two children. Mrs. Winters attended the University of Akron and has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach PreK-6 grades.
Mrs. Winter’s favorite verse is Psalm 119:11: "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee".
Preschool & Pre-K
Mrs. Poeppel
Mrs. Poeppel has been a preschool/Pre-K classroom aide at St. Luke's for 17 years. Her 5 children are all graduates of St. Luke Lutheran School. She graduated from Penn West Clarion University. She loves to spend time with her family camping and enjoys reading and sewing.
Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:10. "Be still and know that I am God." In times of anxious waiting it reminds me to stop stressing about things I cannot control and put my trust in Him.”
Preschool/PreK Classroom Aide
Mrs. Penn
Mrs. Lynn Penn is an aide in Pre-K. She has her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Westminster College. She is a St. Luke alumni and is very involved in the PTL. She enjoys spending time at home with her husband, 2 sons, and pet bunny.
Her favorite verse is Matthew 6:34: "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Preschool Classroom Aide
Mrs. Marlys Kupec
Mrs. Marlys Kupec has an elementary education degree from Slippery Rock University. She is a teacher’s aide and substitute. She loves watching her grandchildren and swimming in the summer.
Her favorite verse is John 14:27 [Jesus says] “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Jesus always keeps his promise to walk with us through whatever we are going through.
